Sarah Shinn Pratt brings to real estate her extensive contacts in and knowledge of the decorative arts accumulated over 25 years. Sarah served as Director of Appraisals and as an Auctioneer for Sotheby’s Auction House in New York City where she resided for over 15 years. Since season 2000, she has been an appraiser for Silver & Decorative Arts on PBS television’s hit program “Antiques Roadshow”. Sarah’s late husband had a very successful Antiques Business in both Woodbury and Nantucket serving clients worldwide.
Sarah moved to Litchfield County from New York City in 1996 and is well-acquainted with the natural beauty and enticing features of Northwestern Connecticut, while continuing to maintain her contacts in New York City. Her personal forays into renovations of old structures, new construction and leasing make her an invaluable source for anyone looking to purchase or rent property in this area.
Whether it be for a relocation or a second or third home, Sarah can patiently sift through properties for sale or rent, including some not publicly on the market, to find the right house or land for you and your situation.
