I'm Joseph Lorino. I joined Klemm Real Estate in April of 2004 and this is my story.
In 2002, my partner and I first discovered Litchfield County while
visiting friends in Roxbury. It was Memorial Day weekend and we were out for a drive. We drove past a stately old center hall colonial in New Preston in desperate need of repair and care. Immediately, we stopped the car, explored the house and surrounding land, fell in
love - and the next day we put in an offer. Soon, we were the proud owners of our first Connecticut property that we continue to lovingly restore.
At that time, I had been working with my partner as a producer of
film, video and television in New York City. As time went by, we
were lucky enough to spend more and more time in Connecticut. As we
fell more deeply under the spell of this captivating area, we knew we
had to make this our primary residence.
My most successful business experiences have taught me to develop
personal relationships with clients to better understand their needs.
This enables me to assess and participate in the dreams of my clients
when buying and selling properties. I accentuate all of my dealings
with caring, warmth and a sincere desire to find the perfect home for
you. And I take pride in knowing the genuine difference between
buying and selling homes, not merely houses.
