Litchfield County is known for its classic villages, properties with privacy and views, lack of commercialization, strict zoning, low taxes, antique shops, congestion-free roads, clean lakes and great quality of life. There are numerous fine public and private schools, golf courses, thousands of acres of land trust and year-round activities.
